On 18 November 2021, we presented our first Annual Report at the 2021 Annual General Meeting (AGM). We are proud of our first report as a merged organisation, as it marks another step in our ongoing journey of integration and ambition to make an impact in the housing sector.
Hosted by our Chair Mike Allen, we had the pleasure of inviting Ann Weldon to perform a moving Welcome to Country at our virtual AGM. The Hon. Alister Henskens MP, Minister for Families, Communities and Disability Services also delivered a pre-recorded address congratulating Link Wentworth on our work in the community housing sector.
We were also thrilled to present a Lifetime Membership to one of our most beloved former tenants, John Murray. Along with being a committed member of the Link Housing Tenant Advisory Group (TAG) for many years, John is a dedicated member of his community and even built street libraries to post around his neighbourhood. Congratulations John and we wish you all the best.
In the our 2020-21 Annual Report, we outline Link Wentworth’s key achievements from July 2020 to June 2021, including the industry-leading merger between Link Housing and Wentworth Community Housing. We also outline our client success in the Together Home program, as one of the state’s largest providers, among many other notable events and successes.
